About Emily

Emily Uhrhammer is a self-taught acrylic painter based in Los Angeles. Emily’s work explores the ordinary landscapes and city scenes through bold color and playful composition to celebrate what most might walk past in their daily lives.

Emily earned a BA in Global Development Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. She took her degree to Washington, D.C. to pursue a career in corporate compliance for almost a decade.

After living in 6 cities in 10 years, Emily chose to make an even bigger move and put down roots where she is. She paints out of her DIY bedroom studio with her cat Lola in West Los Angeles.
